It is called Best Italian Wine Awards. An international jury selected the 50 best Italian wines.

It is the first edition of this event created by Luca Gardini, world champion sommelier, and by the wine critic Andrea Grignaffini. They tasted and rated the wines together with Daniele Cernilli and Enzo Vizzari, Raul Salama (oenologist and journalist for Revue du Vin de France) and the British Tim Atkin (Master of Wine and journalist for The Economist and The Observer).
